SHANGHAI (ICIS)--China’s Tianjin Lugang Petroleum and Rubber is planning to start up a new 50,000 tonne/year styrene butadiene rubber (SBR) line on 25 March, a source close to the company said on Tuesday.
The company will start up another new 50,000 tonne/year SBR line later, but the date has not been confirmed, the source added.
The two lines were originally scheduled to start up at the end of 2010 but were delayed due to technical issues, according to a previous report from ICIS.
Tianjin Lugang Petroleum and Rubber is a privately owned rubber producer and is based in Tianjin, north China.
