MOVES: Swiss biodiesel producer Biopetrol appoints Roelfs CEO

TORONTO (ICIS)--Biopetrol Industries has appointed Maarten Roelfs as its new CEO, the Switzerland-based biodiesel and glycerine producer said on Tuesday.

Roelfs, previously chief financial officer, is taking over immediately from Klaus Henschel, who decided to leave the company, Biopetrol said.

Biopetrol has capacities for 1m tonnes/year of biodiesel and 90,000 tonnes/year of pharmaceutical-grade glycerine from plants in Germany and the Netherlands.
