CRUDE: May WTI: $105.69/bbl, up 9 cents; May Brent: $115.75/bbl, up 3 cents
NYMEX WTI crude futures marked time, trading within a narrow range ahead of the weekend while factoring in geopolitical events and economic data.
RBOB: Apr: $3.0472/gal, up 0.24 cents/gal
Reformulated gasoline blendstock for oxygenate blending (RBOB) futures nominally increased as growth in the US economy indicated that demand for motor fuel might increase as inventories are dropping.
NATURAL GAS: Apr: $4.268/MMBtu, up 4.4 cents
The natural gas front-month futures contract rebounded from a decline during the previous day as expectations of colder-then-normal weather along the
ETHANE: steady at 71.25-73.50 cents/gal
Mont Belvieu ethane prices were stable after plunging during the previous day as propane and normal butane prices fell, putting downward pressure on ethane.
AROMATICS: toluene up at $4.02-4.03/gal FOB
Prompt n-grade toluene spot prices stronger this morning, traders said. The range was based on a reported trade at $4.025/gal FOB (free on board), and was up from $3.85-3.88/gal FOB the previous day.
OLEFINS: ethylene offered up at 63.00 cents/lb
US ethylene for March was offered up at 63.00 cents/lb on Friday against a bid at 59.00 cents/lb. Ethylene for March traded on Thursday at 59.50 cents/lb.
