SHANGHAI (ICIS)--China’s Anhui Liuguo Chemical has posted a 50.11% increase in net profit for 2010 to yuan (CNY) 81.7m ($12.4m) on the back of strong demand, the company announced on Monday.
The company produced 1.2m tonnes of phosphatic compound fertilizer and 127,900 tonnes of ammonia in 2010, the company said.
Operating revenue fell 6.27% year on year to CNY2.73bn, it added.
The company is expected to produce 1.21m tonnes of phosphatic compound fertilizer products and 150,000 tonnes of ammonia in 2011, and is targeting an operating revenue of CNY3.1bn for this year.
Anhui Liuguo mainly produces monoammonium phosphate (MAP), diammonium phosphate (DAP) and compound fertilizer products.
