HOUSTON (ICIS)--Valero has not scheduled a turnaround at its 142,000 bbl/day Corpus Christi refinery in Texas, contrary to recent media reports, company spokesman Bill Day said on Monday.
“I saw reports speculating about work at Corpus Christi later this year, but nothing has been scheduled there officially,” Day said.
Day added that any turnaround work on major units would be included in the turnaround schedules that Valero reports in its quarterly earnings.
Media reports said that a turnaround on the east plant of the refinery had been scheduled for mid-October.
