SINGAPORE (ICIS)--Taiwan’s Formosa Petrochemical Corp (FPCC) has bought 150,000 tonnes of spot naphtha for delivery into Mailiao in the first half of May, a source close to the company said on Wednesday.
The cargoes fetched a premium of $3.50-4.50/tonne (€2.49-3.20/tonne) to Japan quotes CFR (cost & freight), he added.
FPCC last bought a similar volume for delivery in the second half of April at a premium of $5/tonne.
