LONDON (ICIS)--Gerhard Roiss will take over as CEO of OMV from 1 April, the Austria-based oil, gas and petrochemical group said on Thursday.
Roiss will succeed Wolfgang Ruttenstorfer, and David Davies has been appointed as deputy chairman of the executive board, taking over from Roiss, OMV said.
Roiss has acted as deputy chairman of the executive board since 2002 and was responsible for refining and marketing, which included petrochemicals, OMV said.
Prior to 1992, Roiss headed up OMV’s exploration and production unit.
