LONDON (ICIS)--A second European April styrene barge contract has been agreed at €1,210/tonne ($1,729/tonne), down €88/tonne from March, the producer and consumer involved said on Friday.

The second styrene barge contract price was agreed on a free delivered (FD) northwest Europe (NWE) basis.

According to the producer involved, the reduction was in line with the drop for April benzene, but also reflected recent spot developments in the styrene market.
