SINGAPORE (ICIS)--Taiwan’s Formosa Chemicals & Fibre Corp (FCFC) plans to restart its polypropylene (PP) plants at Mailiao on 16 April, a company source said on Tuesday.
The two PP plants, each with a capacity of 180,000 tonnes/year, were shut around mid-March for maintenance, the source said.
"The plants should resume production this weekend if everything goes as planned,” he said.
