LONDON (ICIS)--INEOS ChlorVinyls has restarted production at its 155,000 tonne/year methylene chloride and chloroform facilities at ?xml:namespace>
The Switzerland-headquartered firm stopped production at the plant on 12 March for a month-long maintenance shutdown.
Production was expected to resume by 17 April, but technical problems delayed the operations.
The facility produces 100,000 tonnes/year of methylene chloride, 55,000 tonnes/year of chloroform, and smaller quantities of carbon tetrachloride.
