SINGAPORE (ICIS)--Taiwan’s Formosa Petrochemical Corp (FPCC) is planning to restart its olefins conversion unit (OCU) in Mailiao on 6 May following a turnaround that began in March, said a company source on Wednesday.
FPCC had earlier pushed back the restart of the OCU, which can produce around 250,000 tonnes/year of propylene, to May after it was shut on 1 March for maintenance. The source did not comment on the reason for the delay.
