China’s Lanzhou Petrochemical to shut NBR plant from 20 May

SHANGHAI (ICIS)--China’s Lanzhou Petrochemical, a PetroChina subsidiary, plans to shut its 50,000 tonne/year acrylonitrile butadiene rubber (NBR) plant for maintenance from 20 May, a source close to the company said on Tuesday.

The plant located at Gansu province in northwestern China will be down for a month, the source said.

Lanzhou Petrochemical also has a 15,000 tonne/year NBR plant  at the site that is running at full capacity, the source said.
