LONDON (ICIS)--Dow Chemical’s No 1 cracker at its Terneuzen site in the Netherlands is still off line, a source close to the company said on Friday.
The cracker had been in the restart process mid-week, having failed to restart successfully over the 29 April–1 May weekend. The cracker has been down since planned maintenance began on 11 March.
The cracker, which has the capacity to produce 580,000 tonnes/year of ethylene (C2), is one of three that Dow Chemical operates at its Terneuzen site.
