SINGAPORE (ICIS)--Technip has been chosen by German producer BASF as a partner for chemical and petrochemical projects, the French engineering firm said on Wednesday.
BASF has awarded the company an engineering partner umbrella service contract, Technip said.
“Both companies are contemplating a long-term partnership which will provide BASF access to the extensive engineering resources of Technip for its capital investments, notably in ?xml:namespace>
Technip’s work with BASF will include providing services such as studies, basic and detailed engineering, and project implementation services.
No financial details of the partnership were disclosed.
