LONDON (ICIS)--Vopak and partner Tianjin Bohai Chemical Industry (Bohai) plan to build 240,000 cubic metres of dedicated liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) storage capacity at their joint-venture terminal in Tianjin, China, Vopak said on Thursday.

Vopak said the expansion, due to come on stream in the second quarter of 2013, includes a pipeline to Tianjin Bohua Petrochemical’s chemical plant at the Lingang Industry Park.

The project marks a second-phase expansion of the terminal following the formation of the joint-venture with Bohai last year, Vopak said.

Vopak Terminal Tianjin Lingang is currently building 95,300 cubic metres of chemical storage, to be commissioned in the third quarter of 2011.
