GUANGZHOU (ICIS)--China’s Yantai Wanhua Polyurethanes has restarted its 200,000 tonne/year methyl di-p-phenylene isocyanate (MDI) plant at Yantai in Shandong province on 30 May after maintenance, the company said on Tuesday.
The plant was taken off line on 4 May for a scheduled turnaround.
Yantai Wanhua has cut its MDI prices for June delivery by yuan (CNY) 800/tonne ($123/tonne) to CNY22,400/tonne for pure MDI and CNY18,000/tonne for poly MDI, a company official said.
