LONDON (ICIS)--Evonik Industries and Taiyo Nippon Sanso Corp (TNSC) have started up an integrated monosilane production facility in ?xml:namespace>
The two companies started work on the €150m ($217m) monosilane plant in November 2009.
Evonik has a long-term agreement to supply monosilane, which is used in the production of thin-film solar cells, flat-screen displays and semiconductors for the electronics industry, to TNSC, a Japan-based industrial gases firm.
