HOUSTON (ICIS)--Solutia will expand its diphenyl oxide (DPO) capacity at Chocolate Bayou, ?xml:namespace>
DPO is a raw material in the production of products such as surfactants, flame retardants, fragrances, chemical intermediates and heat transfer fluids for the solar industry.
Solutia said it expects to complete the expansion by early 2012. It did not disclose capacity or financial details.
