TORONTO (ICIS)--Praxair has started up a cryogenic air separation plant to supply Essar Steel Algoma's mill in Sault Ste Marie, ?xml:namespace>
The unit will supply 900 tonnes/day of gaseous oxygen, Praxair said.
It is integrated with an existing Praxair plant at Essar’s Sault St Marie site, bringing Praxair's total capacity there to 2,700 tonnes/day, it added.
