HOUSTON (ICIS)--The US paraxylene (PX) June contract price was concluded at a decrease of 6 cents/lb ($132/tonne, €94/tonne) from May, buyers and sellers said on Friday.
The June price was settled at 75 cents/lb DEL (delivered), down from the May price of 81 cents/lb DEL, according to two producers and two buyers.
The Asia Contract Price (ACP) for June PX was settled $105/tonne down from May at $1,500/tonne CFR (cost and freight) Asia.
Since early 2010, US contract price movement has tracked the ACP delta to within $50/tonne.
