China’s Hanzhong Natural Gas signs largest supply contract

SHANGHAI (ICIS)--China’s Hanzhong Natural Gas Investment and Develop Company has signed a contract to supply 10m cbm (cubic metres) of natural gas per year to Hanzhong Zinc Industry Company from 2012, a source close to Hanzhong Natural Gas said on Monday.

The volume in the supply contract is the largest to be negotiated in the southern Shaanxi region, the source said. It is also the first natural gas supply to achieve a volume of 10m cbm.

Under the terms of the contract, the volume of natural gas supplied to Hanzhong Zinc Industry is expected to reach 20m cbm by 2015, the source added.
