China’s Lanzhou Petchem to restart acrylonitrile butadiene rubber unit

SHANGHAI (ICIS)--?xml:namespace>China’s Lanzhou Petrochemical is planning to restart its 50,000 tonne/year acrylonitrile butadiene rubber plant in Gansu in late June, a source close to the company said on Thursday.
The company shut the plant on 20 May for regular maintenance, the source added.
Lanzhou Petrochemical, a subsidiary of PetroChina, is running its 15,000 tonne/year NBR plant at the same site at “normal rates”, the source said.
