LONDON (ICIS)--A second European July styrene barge contract has been confirmed at €1,124/tonne ($1,629/tonne), down €99/tonne from June, the buyer and seller involved said on Friday.

The second styrene barge contract price was agreed on a free on board (FOB) Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Antwerp (ARA) basis.

According to the seller, the reduction was in line with feedstock decreases this month as well as a weaker outlook for polystyrene demand.
