HOUSTON (ICIS)--Rentech has received all-state permits to start construction of a planned biomass gasification and power project at ?xml:namespace>
If realised, the project will use woody biomass as feedstock to provide synthesis gas to a 55MW combined-cycle power plant, it said.
Rentech also said it has come to an agreement with engineering firms on the construction of the project.
However, it did not say when construction will start or how much the project is expected to cost.
According to information on Rentech's website, the project is expected to start up in 2013.
