LONDON (ICIS)--Al-Waha Petrochemical has extended the outage at its 450,000 tonne/year polypropylene (PP) facility in ?xml:namespace>
The plant was shut down early last week for four to five days, following technical issues.
“We do not yet know the specific restart date,” the sources added.
Al-Waha is a 75:25 joint venture between Sahara Petrochemical Co and LyondellBasell.
SPC is a joint venture between National Industrialisation Co (TASNEE) and LyondellBasell. SEPC is a joint venture between Sahara Olefins Co (24.4%), TASNEE (50.6%) and LyondellBasell (25%).
