NewsFlashFPC’s Mailiao PE plant shut after hydrogen pipeline blast

SINGAPORE (ICIS)--Formosa Plastics Corp’s (FPC) polyethylene (PE) and ethylene vinyl acetate (EVA) plants at Mailiao were shut late on Tuesday evening following a fire at a hydrogen pipeline in the vicinity, a company source said on Wednesday.
The facilities were not affected but were shut as a precautionary measure, the source said.
