SHANGHAI (ICIS)--China’s Fujia Dahua Petrochemical restarted its aromatics complex on 22 July and is running the facility at a reduced operating rate, a source close to the company said on Wednesday.
The complex at Dalian was shut on 20 June because of a technical glitch.
The aromatics complex houses a 700,000 tonne/year paraxylene (PX) unit, a 100,000 tonne/year orthoxylene (OX) unit and a 300,000 tonne/year benzene unit.
The OX unit is being operated at 30% of capacity, while the operating rates of the PX and benzene units have not been disclosed by the company.
