SINGAPORE (ICIS)--Thailand’s PTT Chemical (PTTCH) is planning to restart its propane dehydrogenation unit in Map Ta Phut at the end of July after shutting it early this month, a company source said on Wednesday.

The company shut the unit, which can produce around 150,000 tonnes/year of propylene, because of technical problems, the source said without elaborating further.

PTTCH shut the facility for a turnaround from 7 February to 13 March this year.
