China’s Shanghai Petrochemical runs ACN plant at full capacity

SHANGHAI (ICIS)--China’s Shanghai Petrochemical is running its 130,000 tonne/year acrylonitrile (ACN) plant at Jinshan in Shanghai at full capacity after it was restarted in late July, a company source said on Tuesday.
The Sinopec subsidiary restarted the plant on 20 July after 35 days of regular maintenance, the source added.
