LONDON (ICIS)--INEOS Technologies has won the contract to provide technology licences for two new petrochemicals plants in ?xml:namespace>
INEOS Technologies, a subsidiary of Switzerland-headquartered petrochemicals major INEOS, will provide the technology to produce vinyl chloride monomer (VCM) and suspension polyvinylchloride (S-PVC) at Qingdao Haijing Chemical Group’s new petrochemicals complex at the Dongjiakou port industrial zone in the city of
The VCM plant will use ethylene dichloride pyrolysis to produce 400,000 tonnes/year of monomers, while the second plant will use the VCM to produce 300,000 tonnes/year of S-PVC.
The facilities are scheduled for completion in 2013.
