HOUSTON (ICIS)--DuPont's Orange cracker in Texas was running this week and operations were close to full capacity, market sources said on Friday.

The 680,000 tonne/year cracker was shut down on 15 July after a lightning strike.

The unit was subsequently restarted but not at full rates.

A DuPont spokesperson declined to provide details, but confirmed operations had returned to normal.
