SINGAPORE (ICIS)--Indonesia’s Chandra Asri has shut its 225,000 tonne/year high density polyethylene (HDPE)/linear low density PE (LLDPE) swing facility at Merak in West Java on Thursday morning, together with the upstream naphtha cracker because of power outage, industry sources said.

The HDPE/LLDPE swing facility will likely restart within three days, a source added.
