SINGAPORE (ICIS)--Indonesia’s Chandra Asri has shut its high density polyethylene (HDPE)/linear low density PE (LLDPE) swing facility at Merak in West Java on Thursday morning, together with the upstream naphtha cracker because of power outage, a company source said.
The 225,000 tonne/year PE plant will likely restart within three days, the source said
“It is just a minor problem,” the source added.
The cracker is also expected to restart within three days.
