South Korea’s Daesan MMA to restart PMMA plant in late August

SINGAPORE (ICIS)--South Korea’s Daesan MMA is expected to restart its 50,000 tonne/year polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) plant at Yeosu in late August after shutting the plant on 12 August, a company source said on Thursday.
The company has shut the plant for two weeks, the source added.
Daesan MMA is a joint venture between ?xml:namespace>Japan’s Mitsubishi Rayon and South Korea’s Honam Petrochemical.
