Wudi Xinyue Chemical to start up a new PO unit in China

SHANGHAI (ICIS)--Wudi Xinyue Chemical Co Ltd plans to start up its new 80,000tonne/year propylene-oxide (PO) unit at Binzhou in Shandong province, China, on Thursday, a company source said on Tuesday.

“The processing technique is conventional chlorohydrin,” the source said.

Wudi Xinyue Chemical Co Ltd, a subsidiary of Lubei Enterprise Group, produces epichlorohydrin (ECH) and methyl tertiary butyl ether (MTBE).
