SINGAPORE (ICIS)--Qatar International Petroleum Marketing (Tasweeq) has sold term supplies of full-range naphtha, plant condensate and Pearl GTL (gas-to-liquids) naphtha for loading from Ras Laffan from October 2011 to September 2012, traders said on Friday.
The term cargoes fetched a premium of $20-22/tonne (€14-15/tonne) to Middle East quotes FOB (free on board), they added.
“It’s a set of good results for Tasweeq,” said a trader.
Tight naphtha supply and rising demand helped to support the strong premiums in the tender, traders said.
Tasweeq sold 360,000-600,000 tonnes of full-range naphtha and 360,000-600,000 tonnes of plant condensate as well as 300,000-360,000 tonnes of term Pearl GTL naphtha in the tender.
