SINGAPORE (ICIS)--China’s Bluestar New Chemical Materials will restart its 90,000 tonne/year bisphenol A (BPA) plant at Nantong, Jiangsu province, in mid-September, a source close to the company said on Monday.

The plant was taken off line on 15 August for maintenance, the source said.

The company conducted a catalyst change earlier in July and was operating the BPA plant at 50% capacity until the shutdown in mid-August, the source said.
