MOVES: US Dow appoints three vice presidents to new roles

HOUSTON (ICIS)--Dow Chemical named three new vice president appointments, the company said on Monday.  

Rich Wells was named vice president and site director of Michigan site operations. Wells was formerly Dow’s vice president of global government affairs and public policy.  

Wells replaces Earl Shipp, who was named vice president and site director for Dow’s Texas operations.

Shipp replaces Gary Hockstra, who was named vice president in Dow’s advanced materials division.

Hockstra will oversee manufacturing, engineering and environmental health and safety, said Dow Chemical spokesman David Winder.
