INEOS Technologies licenses PP process to Yanchang Petroleum

SHANGHAI (ICIS)--INEOS Technologies has licensed its Innovene Polypropylene Process to China’s Yanchang Petroleum Yanan Energy and Chemical Company, Swiss-headquartered INEOS said on Thursday.

The process will be for a 300,000 tonnes/year polypropylene (PP) plant in Shaanxi province, China, which is expected to start up in 2013.

The plant will produce a wide range of PP products including homopolymers, random copolymers and impact copolymers.

Yanchang Petroleum did not provide details about this when contacted by ICIS.
