China’s Jiangyu Glycerine restarts crude glycerine refining unit

SINGAPORE (ICIS)--China’s Jiangyu Glycerine has restarted its 15,000 tonne/year crude glycerine refining plant at Nanjing city in east China on 19 September, a company source said on Tuesday.

The company shut the plant on 1 August in line with a tight feedstock supply because its cargoes from South America had not arrived.

“Now the issue has been resolved,” the source said.

“The market has been stable as the producer has regular customers and there is sufficient supply in the glycerine market,” the source added.
