SINGAPORE (ICIS)--ExxonMobil has nominated an Asian Contract Price (ACP) for October paraxylene (PX) at $1,800/tonne (€1,314/tonne), on expectations of continued tight supply for October and November, customers of the petrochemical giant said on Thursday.
The October ACP is $145/tonne higher than the September ACP settlement at $1,655/tonne CFR (cost & freight) Asia.
Spot PX prices were assessed at $1,710-1,720/tonne CFR Taiwan and/or China Main Port (CMP) on 21 September, according to ICIS data.
