China’s Yisheng Dahua shuts PTA plant on mechanical glitch

SINGAPORE (ICIS)--China-based Yisheng Dahua Petrochemical shut its 2.2m tonne/year purified terephthalic acid (PTA) plant on 22 September due to a mechanical problem, a company source said on Thursday.

The plant in Dalian, in northeast Liaoning province, will be shut for five days, the source said without giving more detail.

Yisheng Dahua Petrochemical is a joint venture between major PTA producer Yisheng Petrochemical and the Dahua Group.
