China’s Yisheng Dahua runs Dalian PTA plant at 100% after restart

SINGAPORE (ICIS)--China’s Yisheng Dahua Petrochemical is running its 2.2m tonne/year purified terephthalic acid (PTA) plant at Dalian in Liaoning province at full capacity, a company source said on Wednesday.

“The company restarted the plant [late on 27 September] and has achieved on-spec product,” the source said.

The producer shut the plant on 22 September for five days because of a mechanical issue.

Yisheng Dahua Petrochemical is a joint venture between Chinese major PTA producer Yisheng Petrochemical and the Dahua Group.
