BUENOS AIRES (ICIS)--Argentina renewable energy company Energia Renovable (Enresa) inaugurated a biodiesel facility in the southern province of La Pampa, a government source said on Monday.

The $5.25m (€3.78m) plant is near Catrilo city and has nameplate capacity of 50,000 tonnes/year of soy oil-based biodiesel.

The Argentina government has granted Enresa a 50,000 tonnes/year quota to sell within the domestic market. This represents 5% of Argentina’s biodiesel market.
