SINGAPORE (ICIS)--Thailand’s PTT Global Chemical (PTTGC), the newly minted entity created by the merger between PTT Chemical (PTTCH) and PTT Aromatics & Refinining (PTTAR), has appointed Veerasak Kositpaisal as its chief executive, PTTGC said late on Wednesday.
The appointment is effective immediately, the company said in a statement on the Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET).
Veerasak was previously the chief executive of PTTCH.
The trading of shares of PTTCH and PTTAR has been suspended until 20 October as the two companies complete their merger process.
PTTGC will be listed on the SET on 21 October.
