The company is planning to gradually raise the output at its facility to full rates next week, the source said at the sidelines of the CBI Styrenics Market Forum, which is being held at Qingdao in China on 19-20 October.
The producer’s downstream styrene monomer (SM) producer Pars Petrochemical is running its 600,000 tonne/year plant in Assaluyeh at 70-75% of its capacity, but will raise the output at the unit to 100% if benzene from Borzouyeh becomes available.
