SINGAPORE (ICIS)--Thai MMA is expected to restart its 90,000 tonne/year No 1 methyl methacrylate (MMA) line at Map Ta Phut on 3 November after an outage on October 17, a company source said on Friday.
The outage was caused by mechanical problems, said the source.
The producer estimated that massive floods in the country have resulted in a 15% drop in demand from domestic end-users, the source said.
Its 90,000 tonne/year No 2 MMA line at the same site is unaffected and is running at 100%, he added.
