US DuPont looking sell auto-paint business – report

HOUSTON (ICIS)--US-based DuPont has hired a firm to seek buyers for its performance coatings division, reports said on Friday.
The business is worth $3bn–4bn (€2.1bn–2.8bn), including a powder coatings unit the company is selling separately, Bloomberg reported.
DuPont spokesman Gregg Schmidt declined to comment.
