S Korea’s LG Chem buys 50,000 tonnes naphtha for H1 December

SINGAPORE (ICIS)--South Korea’s LG Chem has bought by tender 50,000 tonnes of naphtha for delivery in the first half of December, traders said on Friday.

The cargoes fetched a discount of $1.25/tonne (€0.90/tonne) to Japan quotes CFR (cost and freight), they added.

The Asian naphtha crack spread weakened at $49.80/tonne to December Brent crude futures on Thursday’s close, down from $55.38/tonne on Wednesday, according to ICIS.
