Mideast freight for easy chemicals to China recovers on fixture

SINGAPORE (ICIS)--The Middle East freight rates for easy chemicals to China recovered this week after four weeks of weak demand.

A November shipment was booked at $52-54/tonne (€37-39/tonne) for a 12,000 tonne cargo of easy chemicals from the Arabian Gulf to China, according to a shipowner.

Freight rates for shipping 10,000 tonnes of easy chemicals were assessed at $45-46/tonne on 28 October, according to data from ICIS.
